UNICO 2
Calibre Unico 2 was developed to equip smaller chronographs and, at the same time, to open up the world of Hublot to new enthusiasts. It retains the distinctive design of its previous version, with a double clutch system visible from the dial side, as well as a power reserve of 72 hours. Thanks to various technical refinements – among them the introduction of a new, slimmer automatic winding system – its height has nonetheless been reduced by 1.3 mm.
TITANIUM
Titanium is used extensively by Hublot, above all for its low weight. It offers the best ratio of strength to weight of any material, which makes it an exceptionally popular choice – particularly in aviation. It is also distinguished by its corrosion resistance and its compatibility with the skin. Hublot uses exclusively high-grade grade 5 titanium, the strongest quality available. Once polished, this material retains a slightly bluish metallic sheen.
